Spotlight: Mega Man X

 

 

 

Mega Man X was a much needed shot in the arm.  After six games on the NES that began to feel too similar to one another Capcom wisely took their time with its SNES debut.  By looking to the future and making smart additions to the traditional formula they created a new series that is arguably just as good as the original.  Join me as I explore the incredible highs and oh so lows of this spinoff in hopes that someday we’ll get one last game that details the Elf Wars hinted at in Mega Man Zero.  Either way it is going to be a fun ride.
